For me 2013 was all about the glitter textured nails, so it seemed only right to don some glittered polish to take me into 2014. I loved all of the textured polishes that Barry M and Rimmel had to offer in 2013 and I really believe that a sparkly nail can transform an outfit. So after much deliberation over the polish that was to grace my nails on the biggest night f the year I settled on this confetti effect polish from Barry M, a limited edition polish packed full of pink, blue, red and green strands that really glitter in the light..Usually I wouldn't use a glitter like this as a base but as I have never used it before I decided to build up the colour and intensity...I applied three coats and the result is almost foil like and I personally think it is really pretty-perfect for New Years Eve. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with glitter polishes like this as they can be quite gloopy and difficult to apply but that wasn't the case with this polish...getting it off may be a bit trickier!. Now that we are into the brand new year it is time to put aside the glitter polish (boo!) and opt for more matte colours, so my Barry M matte collection will be rummaged around for My nail polish collection is forever growing and I am already itching to get a shopping trip to Boots to pick up a few more for my collection...
