Merry Christmas to everyone, I hope you have all had an amazing time-I have over indulged in far too much food and I am sure there will be more before the 31st! I have seen a few of these 'What I got for Christmas' Posts and as I love am nosey  to read and see what everyone has got I decided to share my Christmas treats!. I was really spoilt by all my family, so please do not think this is a show off post--it is not!.

I got such a mixed bag of presents this year, and considering I did not tell anybody what I wanted I really love everything!. My biggest present has to be my new Electric mixer complete with all the essential tools to whip up some delights in the kitchen...my mother in law got me this as I had mentioned months ago that I would love to get something like this...far too much and I was overwhelmed at her generosity...eager to get baking now!.

I love my two pink handbags, my husband bought me the larger one and my sister the small satchel...can you tell I'm obsessed with pink?? Both of the bags are gorgeous and I love them. My husband bought me the pink River Island dress also, which actually looks so much nicer on, and he also got me some new Real Technique Brushes. And as he knows how much I love reading he picked me up a few books, Best Husband Ever!

I love Soap and Glory so was delighted to see a few of their gift sets...I love the barrel bag with all the miniature goodies-the bag will be so handy for travelling, I also received the Soap&Glory Lip Crayon tin...with three gorgeous shades of colours to use. Some bits and bobs from The Body Shop ( in my favourite Strawberry Scent) people know me so well! and some beauty products from Boots, including a Soap&Glory lipstick and lip crayon, a Nail varnish and Mascara. And what Christmas would be complete without a pair of cosy slipper socks?!

My lovely sister in law got me the lovely Vanilla Sugar soap, which is packaged in such a pretty box, as well as the Amazing Estee Lauder makeup set! It comes in a really sturdy box that opens up to reveal three sides filled with  blushers, eyeshadows, lipsticks, brushes, lipglosses and a handy mirror..seriously how amazing! Brilliant present!.

I also received Jimmy Choo perfume, which I have never had before so excited to use this..plus the packaging is so pretty! A bottle of wine and a travel coffee mug, and a mini Dove travel set also made it into my stocking. Honestly, I am delighted with all my presents and feel very lucky to have received them all. I Hope you enjoyed seeing what I received this year and I hope you all have an amazing New Year's Eve...I'm off to eat a few more Pringles and Ferrero Rocher (I just can't stop).

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Apologies for the lack of posting recently, I have been doing a mix of night and day duty at work which had left me like a extra from The Walking Dead and combined with  heavy dose of the cold I just have not felt up to blogging. I hope you all have a lovely Christmas Eve and feast on mince pies. Quality Street and Shloer! I am off to work tonight...night duty and i would so much rather be in front of a fire watching Elf! I am also working the rest of the week, so I shall be spending my time off with family and friends, maybe a few blog posts threw in to the mix if I can prise myself away from all the yummy food and drink!         I picked up this Seventeen Lipstick whilst browsing in Boots, I wasn't really after anything in particular, but as usual I picked up a few things-this lipstick being one of them. Seventeen isn't really a brand I would look at but as they had an offer on( and I am a sucker for any offers) so I decided to try this out. The packaging is pretty basic, although I quite like the silver bullet type case. I chose the Colour Rich from this Supreme Shine Range, and I really love the colour. It is a really soft red/berry lip colour and it is something that I usually never wear, but I really love it! Colour pigmentation is really impressive, although Rich does look a lot darker and plum shaded in the bullet than on the lips. Priced at £4.99, which is admittedly a little pricey for the brand (in my opinion anyway) I'm quite impressed on this first buy. I'll definitely take another look and see what other shades they have to offer. Anybody else ever tried Seventeen products?

            Ok I'll admit it...I am obsessed with glitter nail polish, it seems to make up almost half of my nail polish collection (if not more). Now that it is Christmas I am taking full advantage of  adding as much glitter to my daily life as possible. It was a tough call whittling it down to my favourites for Christmas, even at that I only managed to narrow it down to ten..a colour for each nail maybe? But who doesn't need a bit of glitter in their life?  For those who don't like to go OTT on the glitter (not me, I fully embrace Glitter Mania) then a glittered manicure is just enough to add a bit of festive sparkle. There are so many beautiful polish collections at the minute, I love the Rimmel Space Dust Collection and Maybelline Brocades. And of course I have to mention Barry M Royal Collection, which I am still loving. There is just that something a little bit extra special about a glittered textured nails and all of the above mentioned polishes do not disappoint.  Unfortunately I find, that photos of glitter polish do not always do them justice so please believe me when I say that they are so much more sparkly and pretty in the flesh!. I opted for a few different colour combinations so there should be something for everybodys' taste although I have to say I love Barry M's Lady from The royal Glitter Collection as it just looks like twinkling snow!. I won't go into detail about all the polishes individually as I have reviewed most of them before here ,  here and here but if you are after a glittery sparkly Christmas then you should really invest in a glitter polish or two!.
