Max Factor Smoky eyes Duo

I picked up this MaxFactor Eyeshadow duo on my last Boots spree. I'll be completely honest..I have yet to master the smoky eye effect so when I saw this easy peasy smoky eyeshadow MaxFactor Duo I had to have it. There are quite a few shades to choose from but I went for the Pink Plume brown/pink duo. It is a double ended pen applicator type eyeshadow with steps 1 and 2 labelled for ease of use. You firstly apply step one all over the eyelid, then apply step two along the eyelid creases and and the lower lash line. The easy to use pen means you can play around with both colours, blending them out or adding more to create a really dramatic effect. There is great pigmentation from these shadows and they really are easy to apply, even for a novice like me! They are definitely worth investing in, especially for the party season. However, I wish I had of chosen a different shade as although I do like the effect I was enticed by the lovely pink shade, when really I suit silver/grey tones better. I have my eye on Onyx Smoke which I think I will get as it will be lovely for Christmas. Again it really depends on what colours you prefer/what suits your colouring but for £6.99 they are well worth it. Available in differnet shades in Boots here . Has anybody else tried these?
